During the last ten years, Rafters designers and product managers have devised innovative methods of producing footwear using recycled materials.

• Upper webbing is made of recycled PET from plastic water and soda bottles.
• Outsoles are made from 25% recycled rubber.
• Lining is made from 60% bamboo fiber.
• Mid wedges and outsoles are infused with jute plant fiber and cork, reducing the amount of rubber needed for production.
